Note - this article is simply a dream of mine. Basically it is the plot of Brewster's Millions . . . how could I spend one million dollars very quickly. Well it is like Brewster's Millions but without a giant windfall of cash at the end of the spending spree.
Money in Bankroll :: $1,000,000
The first think I would have to buy is a house. I would shoot for a house around $350,000. This should be able to buy a fairly decent house in my area. The reason I am not dropping more on it is because I would like to be able to afford the bills and taxes for the house. Also, I want money for some other purchase.
Money in Bankroll :: $650,000
Now that I have the house, I am going to want to make some improvements. Hot tubs, decks, patios, grills, etc all will have to be added. Also I will want to beef up the houses electrical system to handle some of the big electronics I am going to be buying. Ohh, also, I want one of those kick-ass Kohler 9-ga-billion jet shower deals. $100,000 will be good for this.
Money in Bankroll :: $550,000
Seeing that I care about being green and now have the space and money. I would like to set up a full solar array. All roofs covered with panels. Also, I would want to install some small windmills that are more on the quiet side. From what I've been reading thirty thousand should do the trick.
Money in Bankroll :: $520,000
I need to buy furniture and blah blah blah, who cares about that stuff, it isn't that fun; 40k should be able to get me started with some furnishings and maybe an interior decorator to make it look all pretty.
Money in Bankroll :: $480,000
I want the ultimate Mac set up in my new house. That is going to require two 30" Cinema Displays and a Mac Pro (all tits-out of course). Total for said set up would be about 15k.
Money in Bankroll :: $465,000
Also for the new house, I think I am going to need a Pioneer Elite 60" 1080p Plasma Display, a Denon AVR-5805CI Receiver, and the Cambridge SoundWorks Speakers. 25 grand should do the trick.
Money in Bankroll :: $440,000
Now that the house is decked out, I am going to need some new wheels to drive around in. I am not going to buy one car, but instead I am going to buy three. My reasoning is that I want a vehicle to server different purposes. I will want a car for gas mileage, a SUV for hauling people and things, and a style car. Yes, that is right, I would have one car in there simply for looks; I can be that shallow. The cars I would purchase are as follows, Tesla Roadster, Cadillac Escalade, and an Aston Martin DB9. Total for all three cars will be around $355,000.
Money in Bankroll :: $85,00
85g's sounds like a good amount to put in a trash bag and go make it rain at a strip club. However, instead I would use that money to take me and my closest friends to ball in Vegas for a weekend. Suites, Shows, Bottle Services . . . the whole bit, 85k should be a good amount for a handful of people in Vegas (gambling not included).
That is it, I am done spending money, damn, I am going to dream good tonight.
